How it could have been different
In the beginning of the year there was no Snapdragon 835 available so HTC announced HTC U11 ultra with overpriced specs. Next HTC U11 with flagship specification but big bezels now it is HTC U11+ with 18:8 display. HTC is a flagship company they could have waited an launched one phone for the year with competitive pricing.
HTC can stop producing phones and help design the pixel phones but it is all about self respect isn’t it they do not want to give up their brand and let it die so HTC more phones concept want work and have only further loss. How much time they can last only time can tell. But android one phone at 349$ makes sense and it looks like a solid package.
The flagship is now a days the same specification and design so it will be only the matter of brand preference and sensible pricing. So this is the phones that HTC should have made for the year a solid option. HTC must move smart in the coming year and all the best to them
